Vietnam's state budget collection from import-export up 16.5 pct in 4 months

HANOI, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's state budget revenue from import-export activities topped 166.3 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 6.62 billion U.S. dollars) in the first four months of 2026, increasing 16.5 percent from the same period last year, the Vietnam News Agency reported Monday.

The figure fulfilled 36.9 percent of the full-year target, the report said, citing the Department of Vietnam Customs.

The country's total trade revenue in the four months rose 24.7 percent year on year to 345.68 billion dollars, the report added.
