BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Han Zheng on Tuesday congratulated Vo Thi Anh Xuan on her re-election as Vietnam's vice president.

In his message, Han said that China and Vietnam are friendly socialist neighbors. Under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of both parties and countries, bilateral cooperation across various fields has yielded fruitful results, and bilateral relations have continued to reach new heights, he said.

Han expressed his readiness to work with Vo Thi Anh Xuan, following the direction set by the top leaders of the two parties and countries, to deepen comprehensive strategic cooperation, push for more practical results in building a China-Vietnam community with a shared future of strategic significance, so as to inject more positive energy into regional peace, stability, development and prosperity.
