Deadly border clashes between Thailand, Cambodia continue as pressure for ceasefire mounts

BANGKOK, 27th July 2025 (WAM) -- Thailand and Cambodia traded accusations Sunday of fresh attacks as deadly border clashes entered a third day, as international pressure mounted on both sides to reach a ceasefire. Hours later, US President Donald Trump said the leaders of both countries had agreed to "immediately meet and quickly work out a Ceasefire."

According to CBS NEWS, artillery fire and gunshots were reported near several border villages.
