PHNOM PENH, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- The China-Cambodia "Peace Angel-2023" joint humanitarian exercise came to a successful end on Thursday at the Royal Cambodian Army's Special Forces Command in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia.

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Tea Seiha and leader of the Chinese observation group Wang Shuqian, as well as military attaches of foreign countries to Cambodia attended the closing ceremony in which a joint humanitarian rescue exercise was performed by both militaries.

In the joint exercise, both soldiers conducted disaster site search and rescue, treated the sick and wounded, and prevented and controlled communicable diseases.

Speaking at the event, Seiha said the joint exercise was a new starting point for solidarity and cooperation between the two militaries and friendship between the two peoples, and was of great significance for the two countries in developing a comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation and in building a community with a shared future.
