VIENTIANE -- A special freight train carrying 25 cold-chain containers loaded with 500 tons of fresh Lao bananas departed from the Vientiane station in Lao capital on Wednesday.

JAKARTA -- Two people were killed and nine others injured after a suicide bombing occurred at a police station in Bandung city, the capital of Indonesia's West Java province, on Wednesday morning, police said.

NEW DELHI -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday faced defeat in Delhi's local body polls after 15 years of service covering three consecutive terms.
