HANOI, 19th May, 2022 (WAM) -- Vietnam has reported 1,716 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, including one imported case, taking the national tally of affections to 10,704,524, according to the Ministry of Health.

During the day 9,587 corona patients were recovered, bringing the number of recoveries so far to 9,382,881, the ministry said, and announced one death due to virus complications raising the total fatalities to 43,073, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.
