HANOI, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported three new cases of COVID-19 infection on Thursday, bringing its total confirmed cases to 1,066 with 35 deaths from the disease so far, according to the country's Ministry of Health.
The three cases, aged from 37 to 41, have recently returned to the country from abroad and were quarantined upon arrival, said the ministry.
Four more COVID-19 patients have been given all-clear, raising the total cured cases in the country to 940 as of Thursday, according to the ministry.
Meanwhile, a total of 30,653 people are being quarantined and monitored in the country, the ministry said.
Vietnam has gone through more than two weeks without any COVID-19 cases in the community, according to the ministry.
